Position Details:

We are a church that seeks to grow spiritually. Mission mindedness is a way of life for us and we care deeply for our community and our place in it as we participate in both local and wider mission work. Our lay leadership is strong and has learned to carry the responsibility of the day-to-day running of the church with willing workers who respond when called, but we need pastoral leadership to give us long-term vision and guidance. We know there is no perfect pastor, but we pray for the wisdom to discern to whom the Lord is leading us.We are a church that seeks to grow spiritually.

We seek a pastor who feels God’s call to our church and who will provide biblically-based sermons that relate to everyday life. We also expect our pastor to minister to us in times of sickness and bereavement. We lack young adult membership and we desire an emphasis in attracting families to promote growth of our congregation. Administratively, our candidate needs to be well organized, able to conduct meetings efficiently, and interact easily with our staff. We expect our candidate to join us in being ambassadors for Christ through involvement in the civic life of the Wabash area.
