Position Details:

We are seeking a devoted follower of Christ who is eager to bless our next generation of kids, youth, and their families through relational ministry. We have been blessed with several new families over the past several years. We are a multi-generational and historic congregation, and the hope of this position is to make real our baptismal promises to our families. This position will partner with our congregation to develop more opportunities inside and outside the church for community and faith formation. Uppermost, we are looking for someone to model the way of Jesus to our kids and families.
This role requires a passionate individual with a strong understanding of faith formation. This will include fostering spiritual growth and creating a welcoming family environment. It will be a full-time position.

Support:
The Family Life Minister will be a vital part of the leadership team, especially between the Pastor and Ministry Facilitator on a weekly basis. The Pastor and session elder(s) in charge of Children & Youth will serve a key role in supporting, coaching and listening to the Family Life Minister.

Certification/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education, Youth Ministry or related field (preferred)

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in children’s/youth ministry (preferred)

Benefits:
• Salary $48,000-$55,000 based on experience
