Position Details:

We are seeking a pastor with gifts and skills that will inspire, guide, and strengthen our congregation. We value a worship leader who helps us connect with Scripture in meaningful ways, applying its teachings to our personal challenges and guiding us as we reach out to help others.
It’s important to us that our pastor is warm and welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds, fostering meaningful connections within both the church and the community. We need someone whose wisdom can help us adapt to the changing needs of our congregation, bridge differences, and encourage healing and understanding.
A compassionate spirit is essential—someone who can provide comfort to the ill and elderly while also inspiring and engaging those who are able-bodied to continue the work of the church. We seek a leader who will walk alongside us, helping us build on our efforts to serve both within the church and throughout the community.
We recognize the deep value of a small-town church, where our worth is measured not by membership numbers but by the quality of our love, faith, and service. Ideally, we would love a full-time pastor who resides in our community, though we understand the need to be flexible.
In a recent small group discussion during worship, we asked ourselves, “In fifteen years, what do we imagine happening in this building?” Every group responded with hope and anticipation. We are seeking a pastor who will help guide us toward that shared and hopeful future.
Specific Responsibilities include:
*Lead worship with solid Biblical knowledge and insight providing application to our daily lives.
*Lead worship with enthusiasm and warmth.
*Provide emergency pastoral care in times of death and serious illness.
*Provide pastoral care to homebound members.
*Conduct communion, funerals, weddings, and baptisms as needed.
* Welcome all who walk through our doors.
*Collaborate with local churches as needed.
*Be a strong community presence.
*Utilize strengths to introduce and enrich new programs or ideas.
