Objective
Experienced and passionate Music Director with a background in conducting, arranging, and leading worship teams. Dedicated to creating a spiritually uplifting and musically enriching experience for congregations of diverse backgrounds. Seeking to contribute musical expertise and leadership skills as a Church Music Director to enhance the worship experience at First Presbyterian Church.

Key Responsibilities
 Lead and coordinate the music ministry, overseeing a variety of musical styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary worship, and choral anthems, to complement the church’s worship services.
 Direct and rehearse the church choir, praise team, and instrumentalists, ensuring all members are well-prepared for Sunday services and special events.
 Develop and implement seasonal music programs, including Christmas, Easter, and other special services.
 Establish and direct a children’s choir and youth music ministry, providing vocal coaching and performance opportunities.
 Arrange and compose music for worship services, working closely with the pastor and worship leaders to select appropriate hymns and contemporary worship songs.
 Collaborate with other ministry leaders to support church events, such as youth retreats, weddings, and funerals.
 Coordinate with sound and media teams to ensure high-quality audio and video integration during services.
 Collaborate with the church organist and instrumentalists to create harmonious, cohesive worship experiences.

Qualifications:
• Strong personal faith and alignment with Presbyterian values and beliefs.
• Experience working with youth in a church or similar setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and parents.
• Organizational skills to plan and execute programs and events.
• Knowledge of social media and digital communication tools.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Bachelor of Arts in Music (Music Education)
