Position Details:

The pastor will be responsible for:

Planning, coordinating, and leading Sunday worship services in conjunction with Church Administrator, Praise Band, and Tech crew

Engaging in prayer and reflection often, both privately and with the congregation

Providing assistance and guidance to the congregation in times of need, which may include home or hospital visits and counseling

Holding office hours (as agreed upon with Session)

Offering guidance and wisdom when planning special outreach events

Participating in and supporting CPC events and community initiatives

Conducting or assisting with confirmation classes

Administering sacraments

Officiating at weddings, funerals, and baptisms

Moderating Session meetings

Keep the Session informed of opportunities and resources available through the Presbytery and other channels to support our objectives
